Soft Closing / Bidding
- If a bid occurs in the last 21 seconds. Auction timer will extend to an additional 30 Seconds.
- Direct Bid: Which is the next bid increment.
- Custom Bid or Max Bid: (example: starting bid is $1.00. You enter $100.00, If no one else is bidding. Then it will read “current bid is $1.00” The system will automatically bid up to $100 automatically, until someone out bids you.
- Auto: If you are bidding but you keep seeing “auto” next to bidders name. That is because they have set a maximum custom bid, as explained above. You will not be the current bidder until you surpass the other bidder. It is the same as eBay bidding.
- Buy Now: Some items have a “buy now” option. At any time anyone can purchase the item via “buy now” this will remove it from the auction and close that item.
